Okay, SO I was moaning to my very good friend the other day about how I am fed up of feeling so s&*% about my body!
I went on to explain how hard it has been for me to loose weight since being on the contraception injection, TMI for my first post? well woopdeedoo, buckle up.
I really do not want to type your eyeballs off about the long horrible struggle I have had with my body image, but lets just say yo-yoing between a size 18 to a size 8 and back again has not been the least bit fun.
Where was I, Ah yes my friend, she went on to tell me about the allmighty Matcha Green Tea and how much of an impact it had on her life especially her metabolism.
Now I'd heard of Green Tea and all the goodness it provides and we've all bloody heard of Fit tea (especially if you follow any of the Kardashians on social media, don't worry we all do *sigh*). But Matcha tea is a complete new concept to me. So of course I was eager to try some!
But first I had to do my research, Here is a summary of what I found;
1. It's high in A N T I O X I D E N T S... whatever the bloody ell they are but I've read that they make your skin look younger (I'm only 21 but hay who doesn't want the skin of a new born baby), Plus its in dark chocolate.. Im sold.
2. It chills you the F out. Well as a sufferer of horrendous anxiety (not to reference the Kardashians again, but it's not the "My private jet is late and I't just gives me such bad anxiety" I'm talking about the real kind, the 'Not today satan' kind) this looks right my up alley.
3. It contains a F load of EGCg's (the stuff that helps fight off the most dreaded word in our vocabulary, Cancer) to be precise 100 times more than any other tea out there, daamnnn.
4. Helps you concentrate, boosts ya memory, Ups those energy and endurance levels, daamnn again.
5. BURNS CALORIES ding ding ding! That's the winner, not that the other stuff isn't just as great but for real BURN MY CALORIES PLEASE! Researchers say it burns up to 41% more calories when working out JHEEZE! Its also speeds up the metabolism which again wouldn't be a miss.
6. Improves Cholesterol and bigs ups your immune system! Come on now if you're not tempted to try this yet well, bye.
7. Finally It's meant to taste great... hmmm this is definitely something I'm going to need to test. I have tried to love herbal tea's and so far its always ended up down the sink whilst brewing a lovely cuppa breakfast tea and biscuits, sue me. The only green tea I can just about handle is the Morrocan Mint Green Tea from Fortnum and Masons, if you have a funny tummy get this stuff down you! but be warned do not leave the tea bag in or it will legit hurt your tastebuds, I'm not joking.

Still here fab! Now lets get onto my review... at last.

Here is my beautiful mug if I don't say so myself that cost only £4.99 from TK Maxx and my Pukka Matcha Green tea. Im sure there are better versions out there but for now this is all I could get my hands on.
The taste? It was surprisingly really yummy, definitely not as strong and your typical green tea but a lot more sweet, it almost had a biscuity taste!!
How I feel? I actually noticed my mood was lifted and I could focus a lot better! Especially on writing this blog!
Overall I'm extremely excited about Matcha Green Tea and am eager to incorporate this lovely cup of goodness into my everyday routine!
